I am trained in trauma-informed care and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) , an effective therapy for the treatment of depression, anxiety, and trauma. I am also trained in EMDR 2.0, an updated adaptation of EMDR, and have additional training in Internal Family Systems (IFS).
I specialize in trauma in any form, and I find using a combination of cognitive behavioral therapy and EMDR creates a sense of body regulation and tolerance. Even if the circumstances of your life don't change, your ability to cope with them can, and your perspective can be shifted in order to see the opportunity for balance, clarity, and joy.
