Life can feel unbearably heavy, and if you’re here, you’re probably carrying more than your share of that weight, so I want you to know that you don’t have to carry it alone anymore. Whether you’re struggling with depression, anxiety, self-harm, grief, addiction, or just feeling plain lost, I personally understand how overwhelming and painful it can feel. As someone who has sat on both sides of the chair, I combine my experience as a counselor and spiritual seeker to help people find the skills they need to not only manage their lives, but also to find meaning in our pain and create a life that ignites and nourishes your soul.

My interaction with clients is collaborative and empowering. I believe that we humans are intended to lead fulfilling lives, and that inside each of us is a "wise counselor", access to which is often blocked by obscured wounds. I believe that symptoms of those wounds show up in our lives as addictions, eating disorders, co-dependency, anxiety, depression, relationship problems, and/or a sense of "restricted" living. I believe that my own "journey" is useful in helping people find clarity around their wounds, and discover new and increasing levels of personal choice and freedom of expression.

As a therapist, my goal is to work collaboratively and create a space that feels safe and welcoming to every part of you. I hope that through our work together we are able to find the tools that can help you heal and grow as an individual, so that you are able to live your life authentically. I would be honored to assist you along the way!

Sometimes life can feel really harsh when we least expect it. Thoughts and memories from your past may be intruding into your current life. Controlling your anxiety now seems impossible. You may be questioning your relationship with alcohol or other substances. In therapy, you will learn to stop the panic, stop the racing thoughts, feel less sad, and process the parts of your past that continue to affect you today. We work collaboratively with individuals, drawing on techniques, like EMDR, to assist you in moving beyond the symptoms of your struggles to uncover the underlying causes of “stuckness” or suffering.
