I believe creating a supportive and safe therapeutic relationship is the introduction to pursuing mental health and well being. Relationships cause brokenness and pain, but they are also the source of healing. My goal is to form a trusting relationship where you feel heard, valued and validated. As we journey together, you will begin to explore how your past is connected to and currently impacts your present. It is through this exploration and a strong therapeutic relationship that you can begin to embrace and work with the life you've been given. Dr. Jolene Nichols is a Licensed Clinical Addictions Counselor and specializes in providing high quality individualized outpatient treatment for individuals and/or their families struggling with substance use disorders. At Nuhope Services not only do we partner with each individual in their road to recovery but we customize the service. We meet each person where they are currently in order to take them where they want to be in life and living a life of sobriety free from alcohol and drugs.

I am a licensed psychotherapist, who works with individuals, couples, and/or families using compassionate, directive, evidence-based therapy. Do you wish to have more control over your words, thoughts, and behavior? Are you suffering from anxiety? I would feel privileged to help you discover personal roadblocks, & reveal blind spots that have kept you from moving forward for too long. I'll not only teach self-insight, but I'll also teach skills & provide resources, so you can be empowered to help yourself.

I want you to know that you are not alone! I specialize primarily in trauma and anxiety disorders, but I also have experience in working with other mental health issues that affect your life. Many of my clients find relief in realizing that their struggle does not own them and that there are many options available to have hope again. Together we can find the root cause so we can create a more effective toolbox to manage your symptoms. People heal when they create trusting relationships with their therapist so they feel validated and understood. Some of the treatment modalities I utilize include CBT, EMDR, solution focused, etc.

Brooke earned her Masters in Marriage & Family Therapy from Friends University and her Bachelors in Applied Behavioral Science & Psychology from the University of Kansas. Brooke is EMDR trained and enjoys working with individuals age 16+ who struggle with trauma, anxiety, and low self-image, as well as couples looking to strengthen their relationship, and families. Brooke believes therapy should be a safe & welcoming space for everyone to feel heard, accepted, and cared for. She hopes this alliance with her will allow you to be vulnerable and be your most authentic self so that you can grow and move forward in your journey together.

Joanna has spent ten years in the medical field, which offers a unique and specialized view to those who may be working in the medical field or currently facing medical issues. Joanna mainly works with individuals ages 12 and up and has experience in couple and family counseling. She works with various concerns, including but not limited to addictions, depression, and anxiety. Due to personal and professional experience, Joanna is incredibly passionate about working with anxiety, premarital couples, teens, identity concerns (LGBTQIA+, cultural, spiritual, etc.), and chronic illness.

I am broken from life's hardships AND I am restored from working through my own adversities. This means that I feel fully capable of being present for you, however that looks. I strive to provide a place that offers hope, healing, trust, and applicable tools that will equip you to work through the discomfort. My faith is a driving force in who I am as I trust it to create a reflective, affirming, and authentically real presence in every aspect of my life.

Accepting NEW Clients - We all experience challenging seasons in life and need someone to help us make sense of our circumstances. We all go through transitions and loss. Sometimes unexpectedly, our life changes, or we've been struggling with something for too long in isolation, and you've been afraid to ask for help. I gently invite you, when you are ready, to contact me so I may help you heal. When we heal ourselves, we begin to attract other healthy people into our lives.

No one wants to feel anxious, depressed, and overwhelmed. It's distressing to feel unsure of what to do. Through my training and integration of Biblical principles, you will be given tools such as: Communication skills, healing from infidelity, regaining that spark in your marriage, figuring out the cause of your unhappiness, gaining confidence in yourself, in your relationships and much more. The Lord cares about what you are going through. He hears you and promises to deliver you from all of your troubles and fears (Ps. 34). I am confident we can team up to meet your goals and desires.

My emphasis is on individuals, couples, and adolescents struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship/marital issues, pregnancy/premature births and spiritual/religious issues.

At times we can struggle with change in relationships, marriage, starting family, a divorce, a loss, leaving home or having children leave home. Starting a new job, getting laid off or fired, changing careers. There are many uncertainties of life that can change the normal way we do things, and we get stuck. I am dedicated to work with individuals and couples to work through these obstacles and to find our way back to their journey they want to be on.
