My name is Rachel Nab and I can't wait to meet you. My passion is coming alongside children, adults and families in their concerns and working with them through counseling to gain personal insight, see growth and ultimately find resolution to those concerns. My in-person practice serves children preschool age through approximately twelve years old as well as adolescents and adults. Virtual/online appointments are available for adolescents and adults if needed. Children receive a child-centered, play based, prescriptive approach to therapy. Older clients find needed connection in my person centered, relational counseling approach.

Taking steps to find the answers and support necessary to live the life you want for yourself or your loved ones takes perseverance, commitment, and willingness to trust. This is centered in my approach to providing high quality psychological and behavioral assessment to individuals of all ages. I provide comprehensive evaluations for autism, attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder, learning disabilities, and giftedness in addition to a variety of other assessments for behavioral and emotional concerns (e.g., anxiety, mood, and personality disorders). All evaluations are individualized to provide a complete picture of functioning.

I specialize in psychological assessment, including assessment of attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and learning disabilities, such as dyslexia, problems with math, and problems with writing. I provide autism evaluations, as well as assessments for many other types of behavioral and emotional concerns. I also specialize in evaluations to assess for giftedness and am involved with a variety of gifted groups. I conduct testing necessary for private school admissions and for accommodations on standardized tests (SAT, ACT, LSAT, etc) and in higher education settings. I work with clients of all ages, from young children to adults.

I approach therapy from a holistic, client-centered, strengths-based approach. I utilize the cognitive behavioral, and acceptance and commitment therapy models to help clients make sense of the past and build new resources to take ownership of the future. In addition, I incorporate mindfulness-based techniques to aid clients in connecting to their internal world and recognizing their thoughts and behaviors without judgment, so they can live a more fulfilling life. I am also trained and informed in positive psychotherapy and solution-focused therapy approaches.

I believe I am effective working with individuals impacted by anxiety, life transitions and trauma, joining you as you heal and grow. Also, I have experience with families and parents looking for support as they navigate ADHD and learning disabilities in their children. I enjoy working with couples to enhance their relationship, working through difficulties and adding meaningful interactions back into their lives. I also can be helpful working with parents that are considering or have completed a separation but would like to optimize their coparenting to lessen the effects on their children.

I have spent the majority of my training specializing in comprehensive psychological evaluations and therapeutic services with children and adolescents. My evaluations focus on Neurodevelopmental Disorders (e.g., Autism, ADHD, Intellectual/Learning Disabilities), mood/anxiety disorders, and general development. While seeing therapy clients is a small portion of my current practice, I enjoy working in the area of anxiety treatment using CBT!

Justin Lasater is a Neurotherapist and a Master’s Level Psychologist (LMLP). He has extensive experience providing Neurofeedback to alleviate symptoms of anxiety, depression, ADD/ADHD, Insomnia and other and sleep issues. Neurofeedback allows the brain to regulate, stabilize and come back into balance. Hello there! I am Dr. Prittie, a licensed psychologist in Kansas City. I provide neuropsychological and psychological assessments. I primarily work within the area of neurodevelopmental disorders including autism, ADHD, intellectual disability, learning disabilities, giftedness, and differing levels of neurodivergence. I mainly work with children and adolescents (though do work with adults), and as a parent myself, approach my clinical role truly understanding the parent-experience! I have over eight years of formalized graduate-level training across diverse clinical areas, though specialize in neurodevelopmental evaluation.

I am a Licensed School Psychologist and a Licensed Master’s Level Psychologist. Prior to joining the clinical setting, I served as a school psychologist where I supported students’ social, emotional, behavioral, and academic needs. Now in the clinical setting, I use this experience to continue supporting students and their families. I specialize in the assessment and diagnosis of learning disorders (including dyslexia, dysgraphia, & dyscalculia), giftedness, ADHD, and other concerns related to learning. I have extensive experience in the assessment of dyslexia and have presented at the International Dyslexia Association Conference.
