I am a Certified EMDR Therapist and an EMDRIA Approved Consultant. I specialize in treating complex trauma, sexual trauma and the full spectrum of anxiety and stress disorders with EMDR. I am passionate about working with clients whom have been diagnosed with personality disorders, children or spouses of individuals whom have been diagnosed with personality disorders, victims of sexual abuse and survivors of incest abuse. Growth and healing is not just possible but attainable together. I approach every client as a whole and healthy being capable of unlimited growth regardless of a diagnosis or a severe history of trauma and pain.
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) psychotherapy and consultation is my greatest passion in theory and practice. I am a Certified EMDR Therapist/Consultant and am dedicated to the integrity of its application in treatment.I have spent extensive time training in EMDR and can competently and expertly treat severe trauma with EMDR.
I approach therapy from an attachment and trauma informed lens. As a therapist, my role is to be an agent of change and a source of hope in my client’s lives. I encourage a collaborative relationship with clients to maximize their strengths while decreasing and stabilizing symptoms. Adaption to the present moment and secure relationships is POSSIBLE!
