believe that therapy is a journey which requires work to reach the end goal. I start where the client is to provide judgement free, ethically sound, and culturally competent treatment. I am trauma-informed, strength-based, and solution focused. I believe all people have dignity and worth and should be treated as such. I treat the whole person and consider multiple factors during treatment. I believe people are not their symptoms and behaviors.
Symptoms are a manifestation of a life lived caused by bumps and obstacles in the road. I look beyond behaviors to help find the root cause(s), which will hopefully allow clients to live their best life possible.
