Hi! My name is Kacie Salamanca and I am a therapist at Mathews Counseling. My passion is walking alongside you as you take the next steps in your wellness journey as we work together toward restoration. I primarily work with children, adolescents, and young adults. I work with clients who struggle with mental health and wellness concerns including depression, family relationships, school stressors, anxiety, stress-management, grief, trauma, and coping skills. I want to help you or your child re-discover the confidence and strength that is already there.
I operate from a person-centered approach, incorporate wellness techniques, strength based counseling strategies, cognitive-behavioral techniques and creative interventions. I also incorporate holistic health education for young adults and parents of young children and specialize in research-backed mindfulness interventions to target a mind-body connection.
