For some people, it feels like there’s a TV in their head, and someone is rapidly flipping the channels. For others, it feels like there are phone notifications going ping! In their heads all day long. These are just a few of the ways clients of mine have described what it feels like to live with ADHD, and while everyone describes how it feels just a little bit differently, most of them struggle with the same feelings of inadequacy, failure, shame, and low self-esteem. My name is Julia Van Horn-Jones, and I want to hear about what life with ADHD has been like for you.
By exploring how you think and how you behave, we will discover what has been working well and what has maybe not been working so well, and through our collaboration, will help you feel empowered to make lasting change so that you can live life to the fullest, and may even discover a sea of strengths you didn't even know you had!
