I believe that we all thrive as our best self when we have the tools we need for success. While a diagnosis (when necessary) and a treatment plan help guide the care you receive from me, I also integrate the Wellness Model in your counseling sessions. I utilize individualized therapy to ensure that your goals and objectives are met in a holistic way because "you are the boss of you!" I am Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Washington state and a National Certified Counselor (NCC) in the USA. I received my Master of Arts (MA) in Counseling through CACREP-accredited Adams State University in Colorado.
My therapeutic approaches include Humanistic Psychology, Play Therapy including Child-Centered & Adlerian, Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), Cognitive-Behavior Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Solution-Focused Brief Counseling.
I am a wife and a mother. I am a certified yoga instructor and avid yogi. Mindful movement and breathing has served as one of my main coping strategies throughout the years. Whether on or off the mat, I utilize my mindfulness practice to help me build concentration, empathy, and grit.
