My approach is integrative and informed by psychodynamic, attachment, cognitive behavioral, and relational therapies.
In today’s world, it is understandable that stress and anxiety levels are higher than ever before. I specialize in treating adults with stress, anxiety, perfectionism, sadness, self-doubt, and relationship issues, and I particularly enjoy working with college students, young working professionals, and parents who feel overwhelmed, isolated, and burnt out. I work collaboratively with clients to accomplish their goals as they adjust to life and role transitions, explore aspects of their personal identity, and build confidence in their ability to cope with stressors and uncomfortable emotions as they arise.

Life can be hard – it brings us times of feeling alone, scared, sad, ashamed, and uncertain. This can hurt our self, our loved ones, and our ability to lead a fulfilling life. Therapy can provide us with more choices and more control when life becomes hard. As a counseling psychologist, I am deeply committed to providing an affirming and compassionate therapy space where you can explore who you are, where your life is, and take steps towards the life you would like to lead.

We live in a high-paced world, pulling us in all directions, leading us to feel burnt out and disconnected from other people. You might have become tired of the nagging stress, the strong emotions, the complexity of navigating relationships, or the feeling that something is holding you back from reaching your full potential. Despite all of this, a part of you wants to feel better and move forward. After all, that is why you are taking this major step of seeking help at this moment in your life.

My approach to therapy is integrative and grounded in the idea that you know yourself best.
So often, we can identify the challenges we are experiencing, but we have difficulty processing and understanding them alone. It is my goal to compassionately collaborate with you as we bring greater awareness and acceptance to present moment thoughts, feelings and body sensations. It is through this awareness and increased mind-body connection that we are able to allow, explore and process these difficult experiences. I enjoy working with adults of all backgrounds and identities experiencing difficulty with anxiety, stress, burnout, adjustment, medical issues, professional transitions and development.

My style is warm and collaborative taking an integrative approach; drawing from a variety of modalities, including Cognitive and Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Emotionally Focused Therapy.
Accepting New Clients (Individuals and Couples)-Life can feel really overwhelming at times, especially when you are trying to manage the daily grind, while also being present in your personal and professional relationships. When you have a busy and demanding life your personal relationships often take a back burner and it’s hard to deal with problems effectively in the moment. Sometimes it’s easier to numb out or avoid with unhealthy habits. But, eventually these habits leave you feeling more stressed and disconnected, and problems that once appeared small snowball into larger issues.

I describe my style as warm, strengths-based, and integrative.
Therapy can deepen the relationship you have with yourself, as a space to explore your inner-workings and "soul purpose." As your therapist, my goal is to provide a non-judgmental space to process life’s challenges, explore self-limiting beliefs, and create goals that are in alignment with YOU. In sessions, we will look at the whole person you are— integrating mind, body, and soul. Many of my clients are young adults struggling with anxiety, trauma, and low self-esteem. I also have experience working with individuals with depression, disordered eating, relationship issues, and attachment/co-dependency.

My approach is integrative and tailored to each individual's needs. I support each person in developing skills to effectively cope with challenges while also creating space to explore underlying beliefs to better understand themselves.

Integrative Therapists
What is integrative therapy?
Integrative therapy is a type of therapy that combines ideas and techniques from different therapeutic approaches depending on the needs of the individual client. By merging elements of different treatments, an integrative therapist aims to offer a more flexible approach than those who practice just one type of therapy.
How does integrative therapy work?
Integrative therapy approaches a client’s mental, physical, and emotional health in a holistic way to discover the sources of their unhealthy behavior patterns or other challenges and considers the approach most likely to lead to improvement. Among the techniques an integrative therapist may practice are cognitive-behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, EMDR, mindfulness, art or music therapy, psychodynamic therapy, breathwork, family systems therapy, gestalt therapy, and trauma-informed therapy. An integrative therapist regularly evaluates the client’s progress and is prepared to pivot to a different approach if progress stalls.
How long does integrative therapy last?
As with most forms of talk therapy, there is no set duration or end point for integrative therapy; people who find they are making progress typically continue until they feel they’ve addressed the issues that spurred them to seek treatment. New patients should understand that it may take some time for a therapist to land on a treatment approach that best meets their needs, but once they do, they should expect sessions to extend for a number of months, typically including at least 12 sessions.
How effective is integrative therapy?
There are hundreds of types of talk therapy, and research shows that while they vary in form, goals, and frequency, many if not all can produce similarly successful outcomes. But a single approach does not always deliver the greatest, or speediest, benefit, and so even therapists primarily trained in one model will use tools, language, techniques, or exercises from others to shape an effective treatment plan.
