I approach therapy with empathy, non-judgment, and support, helping my clients develop coping skills and make positive changes in their lives. I am a mental health therapist with over four years of experience providing school-based and outpatient services for clients from adolescents to adults. In addition, I am a veteran of the United States Marine Corps, having served from September 2002 to November 2006. With extensive knowledge in diagnosing mental health disorders, I create personalized treatment plans tailored to each client's unique needs and circumstances.

I want to work with you if you’re facing long-standing personality issues or relationship struggles growing out of them. Though not a psychoanalyst, I am strongly informed by psychoanalytic theory, particularly object relations and intersubjectivity. I like to work with individuals once or twice a week over periods of at least a year or two, and weekly with couples, focusing on the overlap between emotional issues that arise in the therapy room, in your life outside of therapy, and in your family of origin. I'm interested in concerns growing out of cultural difference, religious commitment, and immigration.

As guys, we don't really like to talk about it. You know, the stress, the dissatisfaction with our lives, our relationships, our jobs. Hitting that point in life where things just aren't what we thought they were supposed to be. So we shut down. We get angry and irritable. We stuff it down because we're never supposed to let them see us sweat. The problem is we end up exhausted, frustrated, and just plain lost. Consistent with several views expressed within the field of Positive Psychology, I believe in focusing on an individual's strengths and virtues to help individuals and families thrive. I enjoy working with adolescents, adults, couples and families who are facing challenges that affect their quality of life. I see individuals who struggle with anger, anxiety, depression and mood swings, which may be coupled with addictive thinking or behaviors, to help find calm amidst the chaos in one's life. My style is down-to-earth, direct, and personal. This type of therapy aims to change both our outward struggles and behaviors that can seem baffling and distressing while understanding the issues that underlie them. We don’t know what we don’t know, and sometimes, we need a little help with navigating the unknown. We can find ourselves in foreign territory, struggling to manage difficult emotions, and possibly not having the tools to get through it all by ourselves. I am a licensed clinical social worker and have worked in many treatment settings throughout the years, helping teens and adults “move through the tough stuff." I wholeheartedly believe we all go through it and we all need help. My areas of expertise are helping with addictions and mood disorders, but my work has not been limited to these.

Stan Antonelli III is a Licensed and Academy Certified Psychotherapist and Clinical Addiction Specialist. Stan specializes in the treatment of co-occurring disorders, anxiety, depression, and substance use disorders. He has extensive experience treating incarcerated adult offenders as well as those struggling with anger management issues. Stan has advanced training in CBT, TF-CBT, Adoption-Competent Therapy, and the Minnesota Model of Addiction. He holds undergraduate and graduate degrees from Indiana University and Andrews University in psychology, sociology, and clinical social work. He is a PsyD (Doctor of Psychology) candidate.

Jason Murrey (he/him) is a licensed mental health counselor associate, military veteran (USMC 2003-10), who is passionate about assisting, educating and counseling adolescents and adults to reach their full potential mentally, physically and spiritually. He specializes in working with and treating individuals that have experienced trauma and secondary trauma in their day-to-day work (i.e. first responders, counselors, social workers, teachers, lawyers, doctors, etc.).
