For over 30 years, I have committed my work to healing the personal and relational damage caused by substance abuse and addiction, emotional disorders, and relational discord. I draw on multiple treatment approaches - particularly systems theory, relapse prevention training, cognitive-affective-behavioral theory, and brief solution-focused theory - in restoring one's dignity and worth.

Welcome! We provide traditional and holistic healing for mind, body & spirit health. We work with individuals, couples, families & groups age 5 and up. The facility is located on a main street with free parking. This is a private practice with a private waiting room in a very comfortable & soothing setting. Look for the yellow house with raspberry trim. Hours are Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and from 2:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. When you call, we will do a brief intake, verify your insurance benefits & schedule your first appointment. We do not have a waiting list and can schedule your first appointment within the same week.

When you walk into my office my focus is totally on YOU! I will listen to you and assist you as you determine what you want to achieve regarding your life's issues. We will work together to look at past or present traumas or problems that have been keeping you from moving forward. We will formulate an individualize plan that will work for you to help resolve your problems. During our sessions we will discover options that will empower you to build a new direction in your life.

You are uniquely made and your life has meaning ...we can at times lose sight of this however. Each of us has a history and life experiences which shape our thoughts, beliefs, feelings and behaviors. We can come to a point in our journey where life gets heavy, where circumstances press down on us, and the person we were created to be gets eclipsed by life’s challenges. Increasing awareness about the way in which our unique life experiences have shaped our thinking, emotions, and behaviors as well as developing new skills to manage life’s challenges are important pieces in rediscovering our meaning and moving forward.

Our you struggling with addiction, porn, sexual addiction, personality disorders? I believe in providing therapy that works. I believe in reducing/eliminating the problem. So many times, I hear of clients that's been in therapy for years. I believe that in 8 -12 sessions there should be at the minimum a reduction in symptoms or complete elimination, or a referral out should be recommended. I practice Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Value Based Therapy, and Interpersonal therapy to conceptualize a client's issues to reduce and eliminate the problem.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Ordained Minister of the United Church of Christ. I am also certified as a Sexual Addictions Therapist and Therapist Supervisor through the International Institute for Trauma and Addictions Professionals.

My work is with men, women and late adolescents in an effort to provide a greater understanding of how one's past has influenced the present and how to make changes for the future. As a Licensed Clinical Psychologist I specialize in anxiety disorders, depression and other mood disorders, sexual addiction (I am CSAT), job stress, relational distress, parenting issues and past abuse. I use various treatment methods including Behavioral therapy, CBT and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and certified in the Safe & Sound Protocol (SSP) for trauma of various kinds.

The Couple and Family Clinic is creating connections that heal. We specialize in relational conflict and trauma, partner betrayal trauma, sexual compulsion, cultural trauma and grief and loss. Pain and adjustment is a part of life. I am here to walk with you through the process so that you will arrive at your goal feeling healthy and whole. The client's experience from beginning to the end of treatment are all very important to me and the healing process. For over 20 years, I have treated a wide variety of clients, experiencing a vast array of challenges. I have worked with adolescents to improve coping and communication, and with adults to navigate professional issues, family and relationship issues, as well as to resolve issues of sexuality, including sexual addiction. I have also worked with senior clients to address unresolved issues leading to depression and anxiety. I have also provided treatment in a wide variety of settings, from schools and communities, to hospitals and correctional facilities. Greg’s passion is his work with men and men’s issues, their families and marital relationships as well as working with teens. Seeing clients age 12 and above are his area of expertise. Among his clinical areas of experience are working with anxiety, depression, stress management, anger, parenting skills, couples and communication, faith-based counseling and is also trained in sexual addiction in 2011.

I am passionate about walking with, and supporting folks who, despite their successes, are confused by their lack of true joy or meaning in this life. So many of us wrestle with feeling deeply unfulfilled and real difficulty finding lasting and nourishing connection with others. Far too many of us then struggle privately, which rarely leads to less struggle.
