As a young Latino therapist, I dive into my work fueled by an unwavering belief in people's power to choose change. My double Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Forensic Mental Health Leadership, backed by my experience working with the forensic population, equips me to navigate diverse journeys with empathy and insight. Growing up in a troubled environment I gained a unique outlook on life and came to believe that your circumstances don't have to define you.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) for Life to the Fullest LLC and a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC) for the US Department of Veterans Affairs. I received my bachelor’s degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a master’s degree from Illinois Institute of Technology. I have a passion for connecting with individuals on an emotional level and taking an eclectic approach that is best suited to your unique wants and needs. I work with adults and military veterans coping with depression, anxiety, substance use, and PTSD.

I have over 8 years of experience and am bilingual in English and Spanish, and bi-cultural in Latino and American Cultures. I will usually walk you through the process of therapy, as for some it can be seen as intimidating and scary.

As a bilingual-bicultural, indigenous Latinx licensed clinical social worker, my goal is to join you and collaborate with you. Diving into the therapeutic process can often be overwhelming and perhaps daunting at times. It is definitely a big shift as it may require us to be vulnerable and open with our concerns to a stranger. I too have felt these similar feelings when beginning my own therapeutic journey. I have learned that looking for an ideal fit would mean finding someone who is compassionate, unconditional, empathic, and humorous. I would like to create the same safe, inviting, and accepting space for my clients. Let's start with honoring life... Due to my extensive background and years of professional experience, I am comfortable working with children, youth, adults, couples, and families. I started my training/experience with children and continued servicing all ages. I have worked in many venues of service: mental health, medical, educational, hospice, trauma, supervisory, administrative... providing services to people facing situations that are unknown or a challenge to them. Depression, anxiety (and all the features associated with these two diagnostics), as well as relational and other life issues, are areas that I service.

Hello, My name is Jonathan. I was introduced to the positive impact a therapeutic relationship can have while serving in the United States Marine Corps. A safe environment to share the ongoing challenges we faced, provided us the ability to overcome the barriers we encountered. Since then, I have dedicated my education and career towards embracing life challenges and providing clinical support to our community for over 10 years.

Hi I’m Rory! I’m a Black – Hispanic, non Spanish speaking (so sorry) - Hetero – Cis Male (He/Him). I specialize in helping those who struggle with their own inner demons. My style is nonjudgmental, compassionate, and strength focused and I openly celebrate anybody who is working to level themselves up. Here you'll find nonjudgmental acceptance of whatever you bring in and a genuine desire to help you feel more at peace. My interest includes cross-cultural issues with couples, individual therapy, and group therapy. I have extensive experience working with adults who are coping with trauma, domestic violence, struggle with depression, anxiety and addiction. My earlier work focused on immigrants and refugees who have experienced trauma.
