My name is Danielle Lozano and I work hard to be compassionate, warm, and authentic with my clients. I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) that has been recognized by the National Board for Certified Counselors (NCC) and has received a certificate as a Family Trauma Professional (CFTP). I feel that my warm demeanor and openness, aids me in building a strong and healthy therapeutic relationship with my clients. My current therapy style revolves around client's needs and comfort level. Most frequently I utilize the client-centered, psychodynamic, emotionally focused, and cognitive behavioral approaches.

I work collaboratively with my clients to expand their insight into all the relevant factors and/or influences that are keeping them from reaching their full potential. These factors often include, but are not limited to; the identified stressor(s) that brought them into therapy; the effectiveness (or lack of effectiveness) of their current coping strategies; the influence past experiences and physical discomfort can have on their decision making and behavior; and increasing his or her awareness of their individual strengths and weakness. Simply put, I systematically help my clients make appropriate changes needed to meet their identified treatment goals.

Ms. Mannix's clinical practice focuses on providing cognitive behavioral therapy to children, adolescents & adults. Ms. Mannix also provides family therapy to clients of all ages. She has worked extensively with children, adolescents and adults who have Mood Disorders, Anxiety Disorders, Behavioral Problems & ADHD, Bipolar disorder, Autism, Divorce, Grief and loss, family conflicts, learning difficulties, school concerns. Ms. Mannix focuses on post traumatic stress, relational/behavioral problems in children, school difficulties, adolescences and adults as well. Ms. Mannix is also a strong advocate for persons with disabilities.

We all experience difficult emotions throughout the course of our lives. Pain, of all kinds, is a part of the human experience. Significant problems arise when pain turns into suffering. I believe by changing the way we view ourselves and view the world, we can alleviate suffering. My goal in therapy is to create a space for you to explore new ways of experiencing life's most difficult emotions.

Amyra specializes in the assessment and treatment of special needs and gifted students, and works with their parents as an educational advocate to access appropriate special education services. Treatment modalities include individual, couples and family treatment. Additionally, Amyra is a Collaborative Divorce Coach and Child Specialist, committed to fostering healthy co-parenting relationships and emotionally resilient children. She works with people contemplating or currently involved in divorce, and post-decree parenting issues. Amyra also works with children and adolescents who are impacted by separation and divorce, and young adults struggling to transition or "launch" successfully into adulthood.

I enjoy working with children, adolescents, and adults who are comfortable with a one on one approach to counseling. Working with children in therapy always involves working with the parents. As with adolescents, providing them with a sense of privacy and trust is something I try to develop from the very beginning. For adults, privacy, confidentiality, and respect occur in a atmosphere of warmth and patience.
