I specialize in integrative, culturally sensitive, person centered psychotherapy services that help clients lead more fulfilling lives. I use Play and Sandtray Therapy in my work with children. Play therapy can provide a child with opportunities to express complex feelings, learn developmental skills and empower the child to grow and heal. I encourage different forms of self-expression such as art and play therapy.

Shayna Duval graduated with a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies in Expressive and Creative Arts from Salve Regina University. Shayna has extensive experience in working with children, adolescents, and their families struggling with anxiety, social phobia, obsessive-compulsive disorder, depression, trauma, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, and academic challenges. Her commonly utilized therapeutic approaches include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Exposure and Response Prevention Therapy, Mindfulness, and Person-centered Therapy.

My experience includes working with adolescent and adult individuals with a variety of mental health issues, from mild to severe, while including their spouses or family in sessions to advance the process of therapy. I work with adult individuals whom are struggling in various phases of their life and help them manage the effects of mental health issues.

Melia is a dedicated Professional Social Worker specializing in neurodiversity-affirming therapy. In her private practice, Melia works collaboratively with clients to explore their strengths, preferences, and goals, while also addressing any challenges they may face in navigating a neurotypical world. Melia has experience working with autism, ADHD, anxiety, depression, situational mutism, behavioral concerns, and parenting concerns.
