I received my Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling from Georgia State University. I am a licensed professional counselor and Registered Play Therapist (RPT) working with children and their families. I have provided support to children and families experiencing a host of needs, including providing support to children and families involved in foster care. I have worked as a school-based counselor providing insight to school administrative staff and teachers with regards to the mental health needs and overall well-being of their students. I desire and strive to continuously meet the needs of children and their families.

Greetings, my name is Bettina J. Sellers. I have a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Georgia, and I have been in private practice since 2018. Although my civilian counseling career began in 2015, my counseling experience began as a Non-commissioned Officer in the Air Force during my 20-year career. I am trained and specialize in Trauma-Informed Counseling. I work with individuals suffering from various traumas to include, but not limited to child abuse, domestic violence, psychological abuse, and sexual assault.

I have been involved in the mental health field for 19 years. I am fully licensed as a Professional Counselor in three states, Georgia, New Hampshire, and Connecticut, and have earned my Doctorate of Philosophy in 2018 from Capella University in Advanced General Studies in Human Behavior with my dissertation published in qualitative research on the correlation between sexual and professional identity.
