As a therapist I believe in being a friend and a guide by providing tools to improve mental health, coping skills, opportunities to process emotions/events, and even space for venting if needed. I am LGBTQIA+ friendly and work primarily with adolescents and young adults who have/had experienced depression, anxiety, ADHD, OCD, sexual abuse, grief, and religious trauma.

Fear, anxiety, dissociation, trauma, depression, flashbacks, and intrusive thoughts strip us from our agency, disconnect us from our deeper intentions, values, and priorities, and hijack our capacity to live fully enriched, meaningful lives. Making sense of these experiences is often fraught with shame, confusion, frustration, and can leave one feeling powerless and overwhelmed.

I understand living with OCD and anxiety symptoms can be difficult and scary, but with the right treatment, there can be relief. Focusing on a strengths-based approach, I am experienced with utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Exposure and Response Prevention interventions.

After receiving invaluable warmth & empathy during my own experience of therapy, I felt obliged to give back to others the same compassion. My approach is eclectic & collaborative; incorporating the Biopsychosocial-Spiritual model with non-pathologizing, IFS-informed parts work with the goal of empowering the client to discover their own healing.

Dr. Cindy Edins is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Educational Psychologist. She holds a Masters in Marriage and Family Counseling as well as a PhD in Educational Psychology. Dr. Cindy has over 20 years of experience counseling and 12 years of teaching psychology courses at local colleges/universities. Dr. Cindy has advanced training through the Beck Initiative for Recovery-Oriented Cognitive Therapy for which she holds a current certification. She is also certified as a substance abuse counselor through the 7-Challenges program which supports the clients in making healthy decisions about their drug and/or alcohol choices.

I am a licensed clinical social worker with a holistic approach to treatment. I have over thirty years of clinical experience. To best help my clients I make a point of keeping abreast of current and new theories, and integrate them with traditional strategies. I help individuals, couples and families negotiate through a large variety of issues and life transitions. My specializations include: anxiety, depression and bipolar disorders, grief and loss, women's issues, addiction issues, trauma, dysfunctional and toxic relationships, and navigating through stage of life issues.

Keisha Johnson is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Georgia with over 15 years of experience as a therapist. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Francis Marion University in Florence, SC and her Master of Arts in Counseling and Psychological Services from Clark Atlanta University in Atlanta, GA. She also earned a Master’s in Business Administration from Keller University.

Hello everyone and welcome! I'm Marylynn Mohr, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Georgia and a National Certified Counselor (NCC). I received my masters in Clinical Counseling Psychology at Brenau University in Gainesville, GA. I specialize in treating anxiety-related disorders and also specialize in working with attachment-based patterns and behaviors. I have background in working with individuals with past trauma. I use an integrative approach with adult clients to tailor therapy to best fit each individual client's needs.

Karen works with individuals who are looking to gain insight into themselves and improve their quality of life. She seeks to understand each individual holistically, including their backgrounds and the strengths they already possess to provide an individualized approach. Karen believes that establishing a strong alliance with her clients is essential to getting the most out of therapy and creating lasting change.
