I work with clients who want to overcome their pain from broken relationships and bruised hearts, minds and spirits. Many of my clients report that therapy and psychological testing have helped them identify and use their strengths to overcome some of the roadblocks and pitfalls in their lives. Many of their life barriers have transformed into creating a more "awesome" life for clients as well as others in the client's family, community and workplace.

Neuropsychological evaluation provided for pre-k through college students to diagnose the specific reasons for learning, behavioral, social, or anxiety issues. Diagnoses often include ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Specific Learning Disorders, and more. Patients present with problems from concussion and traumatic brain injury, perinatal drug exposure, seizure disorder, other medical issues, or unknown cause. Sometimes children seem to be not reaching their academic potential for an unknown reason. At times, when workload increases such as in college or rigorous high school classes, difficulties emerge that were not evident before.

Volusia Neuropsychology & Behavioral Health offers multiple services to meet the needs of all patients. Our dedicated clinicians provide counseling and psychological services for children, adolescents, and adults in a supportive environment that promotes optimal well-being. The neuropsychological component of the practice is dedicated to the evaluation of brain function and assess cognitive, emotional and personality changes that can occur through injury and neurologic and medical illness.

For psychotherapy to lead to positive change, there needs to be a strong, supportive and genuine relationship between therapist and patient. My research and clinical interests are centered on helping you find the best patient/therapist match, and on working to maintain meaningful and trusting relationships throughout our time together. I provide screening, assessment, behavioral modification, and counseling services to individuals (3 years through Adulthood) with mild to severe behavioral difficulties who are on the Autism Spectrum and/or have been diagnosed with ADHD. I have expertise with Autism assessment and ABA. I also provide support for the families of children/adolescents with Autism Spectrum Disorders. I provide psychoeducational assessments for individuals with Learning Disorders and Intellectual Disabilities. I am familiar with Florida DOE law and how parents/students can access services within public schools in Florida. I also provide CBT for Insomnia to adults and children/adolescents.

As a licensed and certified school psychologist, I am trained to administer psychological assessments to identify giftedness, learning disorders, emotional and behavioral disorders, Aspergers/Autism, ADHD, cognitive impairments and processing deficits to people, ages 4-adulthood. Evaluations include interventions that will focus on the individual's needs, based on their identified strengths and weaknesses.
