Hi! My name is Jessi and I am here for all of your therapeutic needs! Many of our current ‘issues’ are deep rooted within ourselves, coming from relationships and environments from long ago, and up until today. Together we can explore this and figure out the best way for you to move forward. There is never any judgement here, I have worked with people of all ages, backgrounds, faiths, lifestyles, and classes. I tend to focus on strength-based, future-forward and ‘positive’ models. Many past clients have told me that therapy with me feels more comfortable and easier than they expected.

It’s important to find a therapist that you can connect with and feel safe. I have over 19 years of experience and training in mental health, working with individuals, families, and couples to help process and manage trauma, anxiety, depression and adjustment. I have experience/specialized training working with PTSD, Veterans, TBI, Domestic Violence, sexual abuse, Substance Use Disorder, Anxiety and Depression.

My ideal clients span from children to adults, seeking specialized psychological testing and therapy. For children, the focus is on behavioral and academic challenges, requiring a comprehensive assessment and tailored interventions. Adolescents navigate identity and academic stress, seeking a safe space for emotional exploration. Adults deal with work stress, relationships, and mental health, desiring deeper self-understanding and coping strategies. Across age groups, common goals include gaining insights, finding relief from distress, and striving for enhanced well-being.

Life can frequently feel overwhelming; family, business, and personal relationships can present endless challenges leading us to feel frustrated, anxious, alone, or grasping to control the world around us. As our life changes, simultaneous feelings of joy and grief may overwhelm us. Adjusting to change can be difficult in all stages of life regardless of our age and sometimes we need help getting back on course.

Life is full of changes and stressors that impact our well-being and can suddenly become unmanageable. As a counselor, I believe in the importance of creating and maintaining a nurturing environment that is defined by individual needs and where change is experienced through a collaborative process. From helping individuals navigate personal and/or familial crises to empowering individuals through life transitions, I offer each client a non-judgmental space to strengthen and discover both internal and external resources while having the freedom and support to discover who they are, and the vision they have for their lives.

Sometimes life has mountains, and sometimes life has valleys. Sometimes when you are in the valley, it feels like you will never get out. Maybe your family is in a valley right now, or maybe your child's mental health is becoming so severe that they feel like they will never get out. And it may seem that way! But there is HOPE. I am a child therapist who believes in the power of the therapeutic relationship and its role in producing change. And I am absolutely a believer that there is always hope.
