We are passionate about our work with families. The Child Hub is specifically for children in a specialized playroom for 3-10 yr olds and teens. We also specialize in working with bilingual families. We address issues of anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, anger management, grief, adjustments to life changes as in loss, separation, and divorce by creating a calm, safe environment that facilitates transformation. Hey there! Thank you for taking a moment to check our profile. Helping Moon Counseling is a group practice. We mostly stand due to our passion for what we do. We would be thrilled to help you on your journey of healing, empowerment & change. We strive for the same goal - helping our clients reach their goals. The majority of the clinicians in the group are licensed mental health counselors or licensed clinical social workers. Most of us are trauma specialists, trained in different techniques. We specialize in treatment of depression, anxiety, substance-abuse, anger management, grief/loss, mindfulness and more.

I graduated from South University in Florida with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. When working with individuals, couples, adolescents, and families, I use strategies from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Motivational Enhancement Therapy. I have years of expertise treating serious mental health problems, trauma, and addictions. In order to help clients and families make the healthiest and most proactive decisions for their lives, I will support, empower and motivate you to seek and achieve the goals you wish to set for yourself.

I know what it feels like to be anxious, fearful and unsure of yourself and in your relationships with others. I use a personalized, brief focused mind body approach with EMDR techniques to get to the core of your trauma.

I am a "relational" coach and counselor who listens closely to my client’s stories and current problems. I then engage in an active dialogue with you. I don’t follow a script and offer cliches or platitudes of the everyday. Rather, as your coach, we form a unique and personal collaborative alliance to confront and overcome your fears, indecisions, and anxieties. I am firmly committed to a collaborative client-counselor relationship addressing a variety of issues, such as business decisions, personal and relational, matrimonial, separation and divorce, career advisement, educational and future aspiration challenges.

I provide a safe space for all. I specialize in parent education & support for families going through a separation, divorce & life transitions. Parents benefit from my use of parent phone consults so they can have an appointment for the parenting piece. I have a passion for modeling positive behaviors & teaching social skills to children/adults with differing abilities. The holistic & whole mind/body approach is my passion.

Dr. Griff is a licensed Clinical Psychologist with a specialization: Trauma Psychology, Anger and Impulse Control Disorders, Child Psychology, Sports/Performance Psychology, and Health Psychology. He also offers executive coaching services and services individuals with both chronic physical illnesses. Furthermore, Dr. Griff can provide psychological services to first responders, law enforcement, and military. He has experienced in providing a multitude of services as he was trained by the United Nations and has worked with the US military and professional athletes.
