I am here to help and I am here to listen. Though I can assist you with a number of issues, my specialty is in the treatment of addiction and problem gambling. I'm no stranger to addiction or recovery. I am a person in long-term recovery, the child of an alcoholic, teach addiction courses at local universities, and have been treating addiction for over 20 years.

I am a licensed Counseling Psychologist specializing in the treatment and prevention of eating disorders, addictions and co-morbid conditions with over 17 years experience. I bring a compassionate and warm energy to my clients. I offer individual, couples and family therapy for people ages 17 and above. I work with clients to improve self-worth, identify barriers to progress, reduce shame and develop powerful strategies to begin and maintain their objectives. My counseling approach is to listen nonjudgementally, providing guidance and feedback by helping clients create effective and personalized solutions to their treatment needs.

In 1987, I helped develop CenterPoint Counseling. I currently serve as their Executive Director and we have a staff of ten therapists. I am trained as a Marriage and Family Therapist and licensed as both a Marriage and Family Therapist and Clinical Social Worker. I also have a Doctorate in Pastoral Care and Counseling and am ordained as a Presbyterian Minister (P.C.U.S.A.) I am on the National Registry of Marriage Friendly Therapist. I work with individuals dealing with anxiety and depression issues. I see couples, partners and spouses and am certified as an Imago Relationship Therapist.

I work with children, teens, and young adults struggling with a variety of mental health issues. I specifically specialize in pre-teen/teen. I have extensive experience working with anxiety, depression, trauma, self-esteem, family discord, academic issues, suicidal ideation, and more. With therapy, I recognize that each person come to counseling for their own unique reasons/needs. With this, I aim to meet people where they're at and work through their problems every step so they can reach the goals that they have for themselves or their families.

Andrew Brothers, Ph.D., HSPP, is a licensed clinical psychologist who provides a broad array of psychological services for clients of all ages. His clinical experience is broad and includes service through outpatient private practices, hospital settings, community mental health centers, research institutes, and educational settings. Services provided by Dr. Brothers include diagnostic services, treatment planning, therapy services, and consulting/coordination of services as needed. Therapy services are offered at the Indiana Health Group’s Carmel location.

I have a wide range of skills that include, but are not limited to, improving coping skills, stress management, relationship enhancement and managing moods. In addition to these interests, my passion includes working with children, adolescents and their families. I use play and sand tray therapy to compliment the therapy process, allowing children to express themselves, while including the caregivers and siblings, to help the entire family reach their goals.

Therapy is a process and a journey. It takes courage and commitment. For many people, walking through a counselor's door is a huge step. It can feel hopeful and scary at the same time. For others who already have some experience with therapy, they may be looking for someone who can give a different perspective or address a different issue. My approach to counseling is holistic: mind, body and spirit. My goal is to create a safe environment where trust can build and issues can be addressed.

I want to work with you if you’re facing long-standing personality issues or relationship struggles growing out of them. Though not a psychoanalyst, I am strongly informed by psychoanalytic theory, particularly object relations and intersubjectivity. I like to work with individuals once or twice a week over periods of at least a year or two, and weekly with couples, focusing on the overlap between emotional issues that arise in the therapy room, in your life outside of therapy, and in your family of origin. I'm interested in concerns growing out of cultural difference, religious commitment, and immigration.

I have been working with children and families for over 16 years in various capacities. My experience comes from working in foster care and family preservation programs, school based therapy, an inpatient setting with adolescents girls with eating disorders as well as crisis intervention. My focus of practice is those who are struggling with finding themselves, developing relationships and communication about their needs. I have experience professionally and personally in working with families experiencing divorce and aspects of mediation, healing, and addressing new and changed family dynamics.

At Renewal, we love to walk alongside clients of all ages to help them learn what works and what doesn’t and learn new strategies to live a full life with less stress and anxiety. We have 11 therapists working with ages 5 and up. Most of our therapists are in network with Anthem BC/BS and United Healthcare. We also have a counseling intern seeing clients for a reduced rate of $40. We are currently taking new clients of all ages. Mary Holland is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Indiana and a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas. Mary has worked extensively with children and families over the last 20 years. With a background in Developmental Therapy, training in Trauma and Perinatal support, experience in Play, Sand and Art Therapy, Mary brings a unique, compassionate and personal approach to her work. With a Cognitive Behavioral education, Mary specializes in helping individuals and couples through challenging times, such as relationship difficulties, infertility, life-limiting diagnosis, grief, loss and trauma.

I have 41 years experience counseling people with relationship issues; couples with family and marital problems; parents needing help with teens; straight and gay/lesbian couples wanting a healthier relationship. Relationship problems trigger issues like low self esteem,depression, and anxiety. I believe that most unhappiness stems from one or more problem relationships. My ideal client is tired of others trying to control or change them through behaviors like criticism, nagging, threatening, blaming, and complaining. And, my ideal client is one who wants to stop using these same behaviors that are harmful to their relationships.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 10 years of experience in working with adolescents, adults, and families who have experienced trauma and loss. I have worked in a variety of settings, including home-based therapy and outpatient therapy. I have specialized knowledge in working with adoption and trauma.
