With over twenty-five years of experience, I have been a Clinical Director for two mental health agencies. I am a qualified Clinical Supervisor able to supervise interns for licensure. I am trained in clinical hypnosis. Other areas of expertise - Couples work, children and adolescent issues, child abuse, depression and anxiety. I have extensive experience working in foster care and adoptions as well as dependency and family court.

As a classroom instructor and as a tutor, I saw how much outside issues affected my students, whether they were in kindergarten or college. My background definitely shapes the way I work with my clients. I take into account the how people are shaped by their experiences, always keeping in mind that clients are doing the best they can. My job as a counselor is not to "fix" my clients-it's to provide a safe space to explore their concerns and help them learn to "do better."
