I have been a practicing Art Therapist and Licensed Mental Health Counselor for over 20 years. I provide an open and nurturing environment where we can process and problem solve together. I truly love my job and find connecting and collaborating with each client and their unique needs deeply meaningful. Therapy can be a transformative process that can open people up to a deeper part of themselves. Talk therapy, Art Therapy, Inner Child work, and Cognitive Behavioral therapy are some of the ways I provide my clients with thoughtful, compassionate, individual counseling to help bring about personal growth and change.
I use Art Therapy only when clinically appropriate and only when the client wishes to use it in their therapeutic process. You do not have to be an artist to participate in art therapy, only the willingness to try. Using guided visualization inner child work uses an integrated approach that helps you recognize how your life experiences have shaped you.
Starting Therapy can feel intimidating, but doing so is an act of self care. Everyone needs some help sometimes. My practice is located in Broad Ripple Village with convenient parking located behind the building.
