I work with clients ranging from adolescence through adulthood. Therapists typically describe themselves by listing the disorders they treat, such as depression, anxiety, and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). Though I have significant experience with all of these issues, I view many symptoms as important expressions of an internal struggle that may have begun long before clients seek therapy. These symptoms often and understandably create misery, but I believe that approaching them with curiosity may ultimately provide a path to reducing or even eliminating them.
