Do you have concerns regarding yourself or a family member? Has there been a family separation, divorce, abuse history or other reason for you or your child to be feeling anxious or depressed? My goal as a therapist is to help a client address thought processes, feelings and behaviors, understand inner conflicts, challenge negative belief systems and find new ways to cope with, and alleviate distress. I am a licensed psychotherapist with almost 20 years experience specializing in the treatment of eating disorders, body image issues, trauma and PTSD, depression, anxiety, and relationship issues.
As a Licensed Psychotherapist, I am trained in evidenced based treatment modalities including The Gottman method of relationship therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and strength based therapy. I currently hold a certification as a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP) and have been licensed in Rhode Island since 2008.
I work with individuals, couples, and families to help them overcome a range of psychological and emotional concerns. Whether difficulties stem from a family issue, school issue, trauma related or other situational factor, I can be a therapuetic resource. My approach is always individualized to the client, compassionate, and goal oriented.
