I received my Master’s of Social Work from Michigan State University in 2016 and have experience in the residential and community mental health settings. Specialties include: Borderline Personality Disorder, Self-esteem issues, Self-harm, Anxiety Trauma/PTSD, Stress Management, Depression and other mood disorders Schizophrenia and other thought disorders, Adjustment Disorders, & Dual Diagnosis.

Currently providing services in person or through Telehealth: I am experienced in helping people with a variety of issues including: Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, substance abuse (co-occurring disorders), anxiety and depression, grief and loss, and self-esteem. A wide range of treatment methods are used including, cognitive behavioral, trauma informed care, behavior modification, and EMDR Therapy. I work hard to create an accepting environment to help nurture the therapeutic process.

Learning how the body and brain work together makes managing your mental health much more effective. Traditional "one size fits all" talk therapy and medication is often not enough for many people. In building this profile to invite you to my practice, I noticed how constantly facial expression changes. We change second-by-second. We mask our feelings. We hurt. Sometimes what is visible to others is different than all that we hope to hold within. Other times, a fleeting expression can tell a whole story without us ever making a sound.
