I am an LCSW with extensive experience in trauma and attachment work and have a significant history working with children and their caregivers. I have taken a particular interest in working with caregivers who are experiencing perinatal mental health challenges. I believe in the power of connection: connection to one's own inner sense of self, connection between caregivers and their infants/children to build healthy attachment patterns, connection between couples in the midst of parenting, and the healing connection that can occur through therapy.
Many parents experience mental health challenges during the perinatal period, including traumatic birth, bereavement, and early attachment struggles. My practice is geared toward addressing these and the effects they can have later in life. I am certified in EMDR, Perinatal Mental Health, the Trauma Conscious Yoga Method, and use ego state interventions.
I am honored to support my clients in developing healthy relationships from the prenatal period through infancy, childhood, adolescence, and all stages of adulthood. I serve individuals, families (including foster and adoptive families), parents, and children of all ages.
