Welcome! I am a licensed clinical psychologist in the DMV and currently offering therapy and evaluation services out of my office in Downtown DC/Penn Quarter area and virtually. I provide individual psychotherapy with a strong skill-set in trauma-informed care for adolescents, young adults, adults, and women of color. I draw from my background in cognitive-behavioral skills training, family systems, and relational-cultural therapy. My approach is best described as warm, direct, and collaborative. I am a licensed Psychologist in Washington DC and in Maryland. I specialize in the treatment of trauma, specifically child sexual abuse. I have extensive experience in the utilization of evidenced based treatment in the area of trauma with children as young as 3 years old. I also provide psychological and psycho-educational evaluations. I have worked with children impacted by the foster care system, multiple traumas, grief and loss, gay, lesbian, and transgendered youth . I strongly believe in creating a warm and accepting amotsphere and that this is a neccessary condition for successful treatment.

He is Licensed in 14 states and has served clients from all age groups. Over the years, Dr. Jeff has organized lectures and various events in the community, including excursions and retreats for couples to improve their communication and better understand each other. I am Dr. Lauren, Clinical Psychologist licensed in Maryland, Virginia, and Washington DC. Having over 17 years of clinical experience in a variety of treatment settings allows my clients to access tailored comprehensive psychological support derived from a culturally diverse and trauma-informed lens. I have in-depth experience and training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma Focused-CBT, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), as well as crisis response and prevention.
