The COVID-19 pandemic has had such an enormous impact on how we live our daily lives. In my experience throughout this time, not only are we faced with horrendous grief and loss to the virus, many of the underlying mental health issues that were present prior to the pandemic, have now risen to the surface and been causing all sorts of havoc. If you are experiencing increased anxiety, depression, struggling with financial hardship, substance abuse or coping with past trauma, therapy is a place to start on the road to learning to cope with this life we are given and this situation we have been forced to persevere through.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with extensive experience working with children and families, utilizing multi-systemic approaches. Experience includes social service agencies, outpatient mental health, partial care, group homes, school counseling and in -home therapeutic services for children and adults. My ideal client seeks to bring balance to their life in a safe, non-threating environment as they address depression, anxiety disorders, relationship, interpersonal concerns, parenting, adjustment issues, anger management, family / children or workplace issues. Therapist provides services to an ethnically diverse population, with specific emphasis on culturally relevant therapy and counseling for families of African descent.
