With experience in Individual Counseling, Relationship Counseling, and Talk Sex Therapy, I specialize in treating depression, anxiety, stress, and fidelity concerns. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 35 years serving the Denver community. As a psychotherapist, I utilize an integrative, individualized treatment plan, drawing from cognitive-behavioral, solution-focused and system's approaches which foster deep and lasting change. My post graduate training included the Menninger School of Psychiatry in Marriage and Family Therapy.

Who is Nature Therapy for? - Anyone seeking Mental Health Therapy - Children, Adolescents, Adults and the Elderly - Men, Women, Couples - Recovering Patients and those with Chronic Health Conditions - Nature Lovers and Nature Novices - Those looking for a different Mental Health Therapy experience Nature Therapy uses nature-based approaches to healing and the types of interventions used are varied and many. At RNT it can be traditional talk therapy in the office, it may involve making bush-craft projects while talking, walking the paths, sitting on a bench outside, hiking, fishing or playing in the creek.

I work with children, adolescents and adults who are primarily dealing with anxiety, depression and relationship issues. Emotional health is as important as physical health. We work together to understand how to accomplish change. I work in medical and mental health settings with the belief that integrating feelings with appropriate behavior creates a more peaceful existence. This summer I will be offering psychotherapy with equine assistance for kids (individual and group treatment) ages 6-adolescents at Affinity Ranch in Parker, CO.
