Hello there! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with over ten years of experience. My main areas of specialty are treating children, trauma and parenting. I have certifications in Child Parent Psychotherapy, Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Circle of Security Parenting. Both Child Parent Psychotherapy and Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy are top rated evidence based treatments for children who have experienced trauma. Trauma could include many things such as child abuse or neglect, death of a parent, witnessing domestic violence or any number of other scary events that can occur for children.

For over 25 years I have worked with clients of all ages and backgrounds, people who may find themselves struggling through a life crisis, interpersonal struggles, or just wanting to improve the quality of their own life. In those times emotions can be overwhelming or confusing, and our usual ways of dealing with life don't seem to work anymore. Therapy offers a way to increase awareness of who we are, measure our limits, and expand our personal and interpersonal abilities to make significant changes. I love couples work! To me, there is no greater fulfillment than helping two individuals reignite what was lost, and create new behaviors that have the ability to create a whole new relationship that both individuals may have lost hope for. Alternatively, couples counseling may also look like learning how to say goodbye, and doing so in the most productive and least painful way possible. The most painful option is to stay stagnant in an unhealthy relationship, having the same conflicts time and time again, and endlessly searching for an answer that isn’t appearing. You and your partner do not have to navigate these waters alone.

I provide safe and compassionate ketamine infusion therapy for clients to treat several different diagnosis including: Depression, Anxiety, PTSD, OCD, Bipolar, and Chronic Pain disorders. When traditional medications are ineffective, slow to respond, or have unwanted side effects, ketamine may be a valuable option. Our space is calm and inviting and does not resemble a sterile medical office setting.

We may be tempted to avoid or run from these challenges, however, when we can learn to be with them, we learn that these are moments in which a deeper sense of being is trying to emerge. When we work with and move through life's conflicts, we contact and may draw upon a vast reservoir of resources within and without that serve to clarify our sense of value and purpose, aiding ourselves and others by underlining our own unique gifts and skills.
