I am a compassionate and fun-loving therapist who welcomes everyone regardless of gender, race, identity, beliefs, or sexual orientation. This journey is about YOU and that is who I am here for. My passion lies in building meaningful and lasting therapeutic relationships with my clients. Are you standing in the face of uncertainty in your life or career and confused as to how to move forward? Does performance paralysis settle in when considering a risk? Having lived through Hurricane Katrina, resulting in an abrupt relocation to St. Louis in 2008 (after forty years in Louisiana), I can relate to life being out of balance, starting over, and the need for grounding. After fourteen years in St. Louis, I've recently chosen to relocate to Houston to be near family and have expanded my virtual practice to several states. Life is about transition, investing in a balanced life, so that we can draw from each area as needed.

I am very understanding and allow clients to work at their own pace in resolving their problems quickly and give them the tools to face future challenges. I enjoy clients who want to work and change. I have more than 30 years of experience in what works with people to get them going again to resolve life's trouble spots or help someone who has had trouble their entire life, and everyone in between. There is no 'right' way through this. There is just 'through.' Families are under tremendous pressure, even more so during these times. Children & teens spent too long without their social support and are now trying to achieve a new normal. This fear and anxiety of the unknown is similar to those experienced by adults recently. I can help adults, teens, & children work through the fear, anxiety, stress and trauma and help you build strong, healthy, resilient individuals and families. I enjoy working with all ages and specialize in family conflict, anxiety/depression, trauma, PTSD, Veterans, First Responders, & child specialties.

I specialize in the treatment of Complex Psychological Trauma including relational trauma from abusive relationships, PTSD, and all forms of addiction including sex and other process addictions (such as pornography, gambling, and food). I have a great deal of experience working with Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Panic Disorder, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, Depression, and Bipolar Disorder. I assist individuals in establishing skills to set and maintain appropriate boundaries, identify codependency, address denial, and improve conflict management tools.
