Hope to have more availability soon**I have a warm, collaborative working style that integrates a systemic theoretical orientation (understanding people's lives in the context of biology, relationships, work, and larger social/cultural systems) with highly individualized, evidence-based treatment. I enjoy working with people across the lifespan, from adolescence through older adulthood. I have extensive training/experience in the areas of family therapy (e.g., Functional Family Therapy), parenting, co-parenting through divorce/family disruption, trauma, and developmental challenges through adolescence and emerging adulthood.
I typically incorporate cognitive behavioral therapy, interpersonal therapy, and mindfulness-based practices in my work. Common presenting concerns in my practice include: relational challenges, depression, anxiety, phobias, OCD, trauma-related issues, identify/development challenges, and life transitions (e.g., moving from student role to professional role, getting married, parenthood).
My private practice is located in downtown Bloomington, in a historic building that offers ample free parking and easy access to those with disabilities. I work with a diverse-range of clients, inclusive of differing gender, sexual, racial, and ethnic identities.
