I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in private practice, licensed in the state of Maryland. My goal is to teach and enpower individuals/couples to cope with their feelings by building a safe and collaborative relationship in which they feel comfortable exploring their thoughts and experiences.
I work to empower my clients to increase their feelings of self worth, competence and connection. I strive to meet them where they are by providing a warm, empathic and supportive atmosphere where mutual respect and confidentiality is of utmost importance.
I graduated from Howard University, with a Master Degree in Social Work in 2000. My scope of work includes HIV/AIDS, issues related to stigma, relationship concerns, self esteem issues, and mental health issues. I have a passion for the work that I do and I have been in the field for over 12 years.
