As a Licensed Professional Counselor with more than 20 years experience, my heart's desire has always been to provide a safe, comfortable environment for people to come with their hurts and struggles. It is my pleasure to walk with my clients through these seasons in their lives and be a part of their healing and growth. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege to work with individuals from various backgrounds and ages. From anxiety, depression, relational difficulties or parenting struggles - I will partner with you to help you reach your goals.

I'm a proud founding member of the Bentonville Counseling Collective, a one-of-a-kind counseling practice in NWA. We are individual counselors working together to provide excellent, affordable, and tailored therapy for a vast array of clients. For the past several years we have worked with individuals, couples, and families on many different issues including depression, anxiety, infidelity, trauma, grief, LGBTQ issues, and many others. Neurodiversity is more common than you might think. Roughly 15-20% of the world's population experiences neruodivergence; however, there is still not enough support for neurodivergent individuals. Charis is passionate about helping clients with neurodiversity such as ADHD, OCD, sensory needs, and various learning disorders. In addition, she has experience working with clients with anxiety, trauma, sleep disturbances, depression, grief and loss, relational concerns and behavioral issues. Charis enjoys working with adolescents, teens and adults and is trained in EMDR, TheraPlay, DBT, and TF-CBT.

My goal in practicing is to provide a therapeutic relationship focused on compassion, dignity, respect, and unconditional positive regard. I focus on meeting clients where they are, without judgement, while collaborating with individuals and families to meet their goals. I work with adolescents and adults. Prior to Waters Edge Counseling, I worked in community mental health.

Chloe’s practice focuses on healing a client’s attachment and relationship wounds, providing a safe and secure presence for the client(s), and reframing or challenging a client’s inner critic. As a Certified Trauma Professional, Chloe has vast understanding of how past trauma impacts today’s well-being. She utilizes her studies as a CPT therapist and EFT techniques, along other techniques. Chloe, like all Wellness & Courage clinicians, is LGBTQIA+ friendly and affirming.

Or you worry about money or you worry about your kids because maybe they are lazy or don't respect you. Or you worry about your parents who are aging. You are good at your job but work doesn't fulfill you. You might be spending more and more time alone with your thoughts, and you find them difficult companions. They might make you feel like you are drowning in anger and sorrow. You are doing great, but sometimes it feels like you are hanging on by a thread. Or maybe the thread has already snapped.

Relationship issues, anxiety, and ADHD are my main passion areas. My ideal client is willing to explore where their life experiences or neurobiology may have shaped the way they see the world, evaluate what they want to keep and what to edit, and take action toward designing their path forward with compassion and intention. I specialize in joining others who have anxiety disorders, depression, grief and loss, spirituality and attachment wounds.
