Have you ever felt like the hits just keep on coming and the suffering seems relentless? You are not alone. I believe life is like a stained glass window. While, the broken pieces of glass are painfully sharp and seem purposeless, these shattered pieces are made beautiful when held in the light. Personally, I believe in the context of therapeutic relationship, brokenness can begin to be restored. As a counselor, I value safety and relational connection which I actively integrate in my sessions. I specialize in joining others who have anxiety disorders, depression, grief and loss, spirituality and attachment wounds.
I draw from Person Centered Therapy, CBT/DBT, Attachment model, IFS, as using experiential therapy and play therapy. My counseling style is intended to be integrative, as well as collaborative as I develop an individualistic treatment plan. I am solely a Telehealth provider for SC as my company has recently moved to AR due to my husbands job.
I was born and raised in Zimbabwe Africa where my parents continue to serve as missionaries. Being a third culture kid, I enjoy working with different cultures and ethnicities. As a counselor, my heart beat is for individuals, couples or families to find restoration, learn the beauty of reconciliation, be renewed and experience redemption.
