From my training and over twenty five years experience in practice, I have developed a non-judgmental, collaborative, and holistic approach to help people explore their problems in living. I work with all ages from a developmental perspective which I find invaluable. I love seeing children because of their innate desire to grow. Tapping into the teen's natural thrust towards independence propels the work forward as I stay in tune with adolescent goals. With adults, I'm mindful of a person's history, but stay in the present using the therapeutic relationship to heal the past and expand awareness.
In my practice, I help adults with emotional issues (anxiety, depression) related to life events, relationship and occupational stressors. I've specialized in working with with neuro-biological problems like ADD, LD, OCD and OCD associated with PANDAS. I use an eclectic approach including psychodynamic therapy, and CBT/ERP for OCD.
As a Lyme literate therapist I recognize the needs of people suffering from neurologic illness. In addition to psychotherapy, I can advocate in the school and workplace. Post graduate training was received at ICAFS, WCSPP and the OC Foundation (IOCDF) Institute. I am Associate Director of the Child and Adolescent Training Program, WCSPP.

Groups
Parent group for teens and young adults with OCD
The group is currently forming and start date is mid-March. Group will be eight weeks long and will follow readings about helping family members with OCD. It will cover the basics of obsessions and compulsions but more importantly will help parents develop skills in dealing with their kids behaviors whether they live at home or not. We will discuss the feelings that come up for parents as we share some of our concerns and experiences. In short, it will have an educative and supportive component. Sliding scale fee for those in need. Out of network insurance benefits can apply.
