I work with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, loss, stress, life transitions, and other issues. I believe that each of us has the capacity to grow and build lives that are fuller and more satisfying. I draw from a variety of therapeutic orientations, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), humanistic, psychoanalytic, mindfulness, relaxation, communication skills, brief solution-focused, and strengths-based approaches.
As a therapist, it is important to me to listen to my clients carefully, to create a warm, supportive space that nurtures growth, and to use empirically supported therapeutic approaches.
