I am accepting new clients and can be a source of support for them in developing and achieving their goals. I work with clients who are experiencing grief, family conflict, excessive worry, perfectionism, and depression. I also work with clients who have experienced trauma in their lives in order to help them process this in a healthy way and move forward into a happier future. I am trained in EMDR which is a specialized therapy used to treat trauma-related needs. I enjoy working with children to help them learn to manage anger, distractions, hyperactivity, feelings resulting from divorce, and school problems.

Life is full of hills and valleys, and sometimes we need help to make it through parts of our journey. I view therapy as an opportunity to provide you support and walk beside you through these challenging times. Whether you are facing a period of transition with a new job or dealing with long-term symptoms, therapy allows you to process your experiences with guidance and education to better understand your situation and work on improving it. Together, we will develop strategies to improve your life, such as constructing individual boundaries to help with improving relationships to developing behavioral plans for your children.

My practice focuses on providing support and healing to those who grapple with a range of mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, grief, and other emotional struggles that can significantly impact one's well-being. I seek to empower clients with effective tools for their unique challenges. In addition to individual therapy, I also offer couples therapy to support relationships and communication. I firmly believe that with the right tools and support, individuals can work through their mental and emotional health challenges, ultimately leading to a life filled with joy and purpose.

There is hope for all! After being a teacher in public schools for 14 years and a director of a faith-based non-profit that helped troubled teens and parents, for 2 years, I decided to go back to school to become a licensed therapist. I enjoy "walking" beside of people who are hurting and struggling with stress, anxiety, trauma, relationships and/or depression. I work with adults, young adults, teens, and couples. I am a wife, mother, and grandmother trying to love others right where they are.

While children are my main clientele, I have a heart for anyone who is ready to challenge their potential and unlock true happiness.

We, as human beings, crave connection and intimacy in our lives. We want to be seen, understood, and appreciated in our relationships with ourselves, the people we love, and the people who love us. Sex and sexuality are often at the root of these connections. Our perceptions of sex and sexuality are fluid and naturally change as we go through life. Communication surrounding consent, affection, sexuality, and intimacy is often avoided due to the taboo nature of sex. At Fluidity Counseling, we strive to provide a safe place to navigate through the shame and stigma that can accompany these conversations.

As a therapist, my role is to support you in identifying ways to use your strengths and utilize resources you have to find unique and tailored solutions aligned with your values. I will also provide perspective through situations with strong belief that every person has purpose, passion, and potential awaiting discovery. I believe in honoring the emotional vulnerability of each client by fostering a space of safety and connection.

I am equipped to work with individuals who may have personality disorders, suicidal ideation, depression, and/or self-harm. However, I operate from the perspective that the client is the expert. It is my job to empower their autonomy, meaning, and hope already within them. As you color the room, I hope to make the space safe enough to make observations about your values, not mine. I understand that every person has different wants, needs, and unique life experiences they come into therapy with. I specialize in working with clients who struggle with substance use disorders, anxiety, depression, and life transitions. I am passionate about creating a nonjudgmental, safe space where clients can “take off their mask” and truly lean into their authentic selves.

The ideal client is honest, open-minded, willing, and invested in the counseling process. Heath has experience helping individuals with a variety of problems, including anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, poor self-esteem, addictions, and relationship issues. Heath understands people are on different pathways and he tailors his approach to the client's specific needs. He provides an atmosphere that is warm, safe, inviting, motivating, and challenging, in which clients will feel supported, heard, accepted, valued, and validated. These things converge to create an optimal environment for client goal attainment.

Mrs. Sapp is a Nationally Board Certified Counselor (NBCC) and a Licensed Professional Counselor, (LPC), and a Supervising Counselor, SC. Mrs. Sapp is trained in EMDR and is eager to continue her professional development in the area of EMDR with children, adolescents, and teens. Mrs. Sapp enjoys the therapeutic benefit of engaging clients in walk-and-talk therapy while utilizing ACA's facility dogs. Her mission is to empower children, teens, and their families to overcome personal obstacles and improve their quality of life. She is passionate about the impact of counseling during childhood and adolescent years.

I enjoy working with adults who are struggling with grief, anxiety, depression, spirituality, individuation, vocation, and addiction issues. I am passionate about helping people find fulfillment in their lives through embracing total wellness. I believe seeing worth as an individual is critical to a healthy spiritual outlook and to cultivating hope. Restore Counseling Services is birthed out of a spiritual desire for all to see hope manifested in daily life through practical application of spiritual principles.
