The adult Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) and the Chemical Dependency Intensive Outpatient Therapy (IOP) and Structured Outpatient Program (SOP) programs at Adventist Healthcare offer evidence-based group therapy to folks whose mental illness or substance use can't be managed with outpatient therapy alone. We typically serve clients who need more support than they would receive in outpatient individual therapy, but do not need a restrictive environment such as inpatient psych.
The PHP program includes 4 group therapy sessions per day. Examples of types of groups we offer are: Process, CBT, DBT, ACT, Mindfulness, peer support and expressive therapy. Each client will also receive medication management, individualized treatment plan, family support, discharge planning and a resource/skill binder to keep.
The IOP/SOP programs at Adventist Healthcare also utilize evidence-based group therapy treatment, all patients receive individualized treatment planning, relapse prevention, aftercare/discharge planning, case management, family education & support and coordination with referral sources. If you have questions, please reach out via email or phone!
