Hi! I'm Jen! I've acquired 10 years thus far in service. I enjoy supporting the mental health of individuals, promoting self-actualization and how the root of a problem connects with patterns of behaviors. I focus on encouragement of strengths between parent/child relationships, when working with teens. I work best with First Responders, CPTSD, LGBTQ+ community, teens, motherhood/women’s issues, substance abuse recovery. Interventions utilized may be: talk therapy, skill-based practice, DBT-informed, mindfulness, problem-interpersonal-solution , trauma-informed, somatic-connections, person-centered planning, and gender exploration.

I have experience helping people across different avenues and walks of life navigate through challenges to heal and grow. I have a collaborative approach to therapy and I'm comfortable using different treatment options that are tailored to each person, including Brainspotting therapy.

I am a licensed psychologist and the clinical director of Sollars and Associates Integrative Counseling and Psychological Services. I have been providing counseling and psychotherapy for over 30 years in the Metro Detroit area and our group practice spans across the state of Michigan. With support, encouragement and expert insight many people begin to feel better after their first session.

Our founder was selected prestigiously as a University of Michigan field faculty instructor. We are a Mental Health Therapy office. Our founder has a Master's Degree from the number one school in clinical social work in the United States of America; the University of Michigan - Ann Arbor and was clinically trained as a social worker psychotherapist by the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Michigan Health System, where she also conducted research on a variety of mental health issues and continue to work with communities and groups of diverse backgrounds.
