I come from a diverse background in education, personal experience, and training. I fully believe in treating the whole person in order to address the presenting problem. My approach comes from such therapy styles to include CBT, DBT, Rogerian, EMDR, ACT, CCPT, Filial therapy, and the work of Gottman. I try to meet each client where they are when we start our work together and believe the client is the expert on themselves. I hope to be able to offer insight, education, and intervention to all clients and am continually seeking new research and training to add to my repertoire.

Noel Tyler is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with 6+ years of experience helping people live more fulfilled lives. She is passionate about children, adolescents, and young adults because addressing mental health early in life leads to a more productive and successful adulthood. Noel is also passionate about helping adults deal with things in their past that continue to affect them today. She completed her Bachelor's degree in Psychology in 1992 from Seattle Pacific University and later completed her Master's of Professional Counseling in 2018 from Grand Canyon University.

I am a Psychologist and lifelong Alaskan, growing up and working in Anchorage. My clinical focus and expertise, whether as a therapist or when conducting evaluations, is to work with individuals to develop a sense of personal strength and capacity, and to identify and achieve their goals. I work with them and their family/support system to understand the basis of their current challenge(s), and collaborate to develop resources and skills that are developmentally appropriate for a successful resolution. My practice is split between providing therapeutic services and conducting neuropsychological evaluations.

That's why we offer a groundbreaking solution: Outpatient Intensive Therapy. Our program is specifically designed for individuals in need of intensive intervention and treatment.

At some point in our lives, we will experience sadness, anger, betrayal, trauma, loss, anxiety and stress. This is the human condition, however depending on how we respond, this may be a warning that we are attaching negative thoughts to this pain and labeling it as suffering. Pain is not inevitable, suffering is optional. When we are able to change our thinking, we can change our responses to it. My intent is to create a safe space for people to explore and investigate their thoughts, resolve inner conflicts and achieve balance in their lives.
