I work primarily with adults & seniors who are experiencing depression, anxiety, relationship issues, and transitions. I provide a warm and supportive environment to help you define the problem you are struggling with and learn tools to create solutions. I offer traditional supportive therapy, along with exploration, solution focused methods, positive psychology and mindfulness tools to move you to a stronger position. We live in a very stressful era, and I value teaching clients a variety of ways to decrease anxiety, build resilience, and create more happiness. I am working only online at this time.
I am trained in traditional psychology, which is primarily supportive and insight oriented, although I use motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral methods, mindfulness training, positive psychology and in-depth exploration as needed. What most of us need is to be supported & encouraged as we access our deeper self. I am also a Life Coach.
The addition of mindfulness practice to supplement my clinical work has proven to be very effective in helping people become less over-reactive to their environment and more attentive to their own personal needs/boundaries. I love teaching people methods to balance mood and increase life satisfaction. You deserve happiness and wholeness in your life.
