***I have openings for new clients*** I have always been interested in working with people who don't quite feel like they "fit the mold." I particularly enjoy working with parents and their kids - esp. homeschoolers and folks with ADHD! I use play with purpose to help facilitate communication, awareness, and the therapeutic process. I use a lot of art, crafts & writing to help people express themselves. You will not find a one-size-fits-all approach here, instead we will work together to find an individualized approach that helps empower everyone involved and help you meet your goals! I am currently using telehealth technology exclusively. I am currently seeing clients at Sunny Hills Behavioral Health & TMS. I have worked in hospitals, outpatient programs, as well as private practice settings. I have helped many individuals over the past 17 years with mental health concerns including depression, anxiety, and substance use disorders. I have worked with individuals, couples, and families throughout my career. My goal with all of my clients is to help them be mentally healthy and the best version of themselves they can be.

I am an LCSW with 30 years of experience in mental health. During that time I have been everything from an “Overnight/ Stay-awake” in residential facilities, a crisis intervention worker performing suicide and homicide evaluations, to being a Clinical Director of a mental health program for a large company. A couple things that have remained consistent throughout this time has been a major desire to help others and a gift for building rapport and strong working relationships with people of all ages and backgrounds.

As a mainly client-centered and humanistic therapist, I find it helpful to focus on the present. I strive to meet you where you are and to gain a deep understand you. I also often employ Acceptance and Commitment Therapy to help you move through your feelings and circumstances, rather than working around or avoiding them.

I focus on codependency, grief and loss process, addiction, domestic violence, cognitive distortions, healthy relationship attributes versus toxic attributes, and emotional maturity. I have worked with clients who struggle with anxiety, depression, grief, addiction, and marriage and family difficulties. I typically work with adults 18 and older, couples, and individuals.
