Hi my name is Stephanie Clark, LMFT. I have a depth approach, understanding where you have come from to where you are today. I focus on codependency, grief and loss process, addiction, domestic violence, cognitive distortions, healthy relationship attributes versus toxic attributes, and emotional maturity. I have worked with clients who struggle with anxiety, depression, grief, addiction, and marriage and family difficulties. I typically work with adults 18 and older, couples, and individuals.
I explore childhood upbringing. I use CBT based interventions to support client, including self monitoring, identification of cognitive distortions, mindfulness/relaxation skills, and identifying and adapting maladaptive core beliefs. I use the client centered and positive psychology approach, exploring solutions to life challenges.
I come with an open, honest, and positive tone, creating a comfortable environment to share and explore feelings, thoughts, and behaviors. I want clients to feel comfortable to share what's on their mind and share my background, personally and educationally.
