I have been practicing for over 30 years. I am currently licensed in California and Arizona, I specialize in helping people work through difficult areas in their lives, which are often relationships; all sorts of relationships. While marriage can be the most challenging relationship anyone will ever experience, it can also be the most rewarding. I help people learn to communicate more effectively and overcome any barriers or traumas that may be interfering with their relationships. I will help you identify how to find more satisfaction in your life and your relationships and how to experience peace and happiness within yourself.

The first step is always the toughest when when it comes to deciding to seek help for ones problems/issues that are impacting their lives. Seeking therapy is not easy for everyone. Some of us hold onto what our family/culture teaches us about therapy. While others may see therapy as a space where we "air our dirty laundry". My approach to therapy is to provide a space where my clients can openly discuss their thoughts/feelings in a safe environment without judgement. It is important for a client to feel heard and supported. A client must know they have the key to their own progress during their journey. They may not see it and there is where I can provide support.

I strive to support those who want change in their lives through increasing awareness and understanding while developing new behaviors and a present-focused mindset. I enjoy working with children, adolescents, adults, and families using a mindfulness-based approach to cognitive behavioral therapy. I believe that each individual is the expert on their needs and has the choice to engage in change behaviors. I am a facilitator and teacher to identify the need and guide the process. I have worked with military veterans, older adults, been a teacher for 8-18 year olds, and am now in crisis counseling. My goal is to help people by using technology which is also something I’ve been familiar with and loved for over 30 years now. I think it’s an amazing tool to reach people who are otherwise unable to get support for what they’re going through. My goal is to help those with anxiety, PTSD, and serious mental illness.
