I am a Christian, trauma-based therapist. I work quickly to discover the root issues of the symptoms with which you present, in counseling. While using a Christian world view, my approach to therapy is to utilize EMDR/IFS to heal past wounds, hurts, and traumas that may be impacting you today. We meet clients where they are and integrate spirituality as they feel comfortable.

*ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS* I work with adolescents and adults who suffer from trauma or identity issues looking to eliminate suicidal thoughts and reduce symptoms of depression, anxiety, and intrusive thoughts and/or hallucinations. I help clients understand their symptoms and learn methods of coping. I also encourage clients to create meaning for their experiences and grow as a result. I assist clients in assigning meaning to hallucinations and/or intrusive thoughts so that they can use appropriate methods to take back control, including use of client's spiritual beliefs and practices as well as CBT and DBT methods.

Fortitude can be cultivated through adversity; and while life experiences are chapters in our story, they do not define who we are or how the story must end. The passion I have for reflecting light and empowering strength in others is rooted in my personal story and testimony of resilience despite adversity.
