I specialize in families/couples, and I am an Idaho-licensed LMFT and Arizona-licensed LAMFT. Often clients seek therapy because they have become stuck. Sometimes relationships begin great, but life/situations cause a change to happen. We all have personal challenges, have stressful periods, or go through traumatic times. The desire to seek help to explore and process these problems can open the door to positive growth. I believe in the healing power of relationships: no matter the wounds, if all parties are willing to heal, I will help.

I am a seasoned and mature psychoanalyst offering patients an in-depth therapy experience with the goal of very real change. I see most all late adolescent and adult patient populations. I offer several specialties including psychoanalysis, psychotherapy and supportive counseling. Please note that I have extensive experience treating post-traumatic stress disorders and dissociative disorders. I have worked, supervised and taught in Philadelphia, Seattle, Montana and Idaho for thirty plus years and am well recognized in these communities.

It can be difficult to take steps towards inner reflection. With patience and persistence, you will cultivate greater confidence, self-esteem and emotional balance. I work with the resilience within you and believe you have the skills and inner reserves to assist you in overcoming obstacles in your life. My perspective on therapy is built on a foundation of collaboration, interaction, trust and observation. The passion in my life is being invited and accompanying my clients in this journey. My style is an eclectic approach which can include treatment using mindfulness, action based, narrative, and interpersonal therapy among others.

I am currently taking new Clients. I believe that we are far more than what we present to others. Along the journey, we sometimes lose touch with our authentic self. This loss reveals itself in many ways: Dissatisfaction in relationships, Questions about career/vocation, Feelings of depression/anxiety, eating too much or too little, Lack of confidence, Uncertainty about life choices, Physical/emotional weariness, Spiritual confusion and Disillusionment. I hold a Master of Arts degree in Counseling Psychology from Northwest University and additional intensive Masters Study in Human Relationships. My undergrad degree is in Education with emphasis in health: body, mind and spirit.

I live in Boise, Idaho, where I provide in person and Telehealth sessions. I offer only Telehealth sessions in Ohio. I am certified in EMDR for treating trauma, depresson and OCD. I am also certified in TF-CBT.

With the four languages she speaks, she hopes to continue to bring access to counseling services to various communities in need by proving Telehealth to clients living in rural areas.
