I enjoy working with people who are perplexed by disruptive habits and patterns in their lives, confused by disruptive emotions and behaviors. This can include but is not limited to depression, anger, anxiety, substance abuse, and relational issues. If you long for change and at the same time feel stuck, then you will be a good candidate for my approach to therapy. My approach will help facilitate a compassionate understanding of yourself and illumine a path toward greater freedom.

I have 20 years of clinical experience working with couples, families, teens, school age children and adults. I believe my work has greatly contributed to enhancing the lives of my clients. I utilize a strength-based approach, which helps families to see beyond the problem and see opportunities for change. I strongly believe in building on family strengths to improve relationships and family functioning. I provide consultation and parent education designed to empower, educate and support parents in developing effective parenting strategies.

Everyone is different and that's okay. We all struggle and that's okay. We all deal with difficult and hard times and sometimes we just need a little support. During our journey together we will travel those difficult areas in life while discovering those personal strengths you already possess. My hope is that through a strong relationship built on trust, understanding, and even a little humor we will find a level of healthy freedom.
