Psynergy Psychological Associates is a full service psychotherapy office. We offer sliding scale fees for therapy with our LPC-Intern therapists. We are a society in which everyone of us - individually - is expected to "pull ourselves up by our proverbial boot-straps and keep going," which has its benefits and drawbacks, the biggest problem being that the metaphorical straps will inevitably break, often leaving individuals isolated and with relationship and/or work difficulties. I am a bilingual licensed psychologist with 15 years of experience providing emotion focused therapy in English and Spanish for the treatment of: stress, depression, anxiety, relationship and interpersonal difficulties, family of origin and identity concerns, and adjustment and life transitions with an adult population. My approach is to come alongside clients to cultivate insight on current patterns, uncover roots of the problem, empower with tools, and foster an environment for holistic growth in line with client goals. I enjoy working with children, teens, and adults through a variety of concerns such as anxiety, depression, grief and loss, identity, life transitions, with special interest in all types of trauma including relational hurts, and spiritual wounds. Client often ask to bring in EMDR, especially for stuck places. I am also able to include integrating a Christian worldview in the counseling process for those who desire.

Within these blocks of time for marriage counseling ,we address such issues as; accumulated resentments, past hurts, childhood wounds that are affecting the present day adult relationship, and resolving conflict in a kind, respectful way.
